Setting Up Your Account
How do I connect my account?
Connection is handled directly through your BTC Breakout dashboard. There are no external portals or third-party websites to visit.
Setup steps:
- Create your MT4 account with your assigned broker
- Log in to your BTC Breakout dashboard and activate your chosen risk profile
- Submit your MT4 account number, master/trading password, broker, and broker server
- The system automatically configures everything, copier settings, symbol mapping, and risk parameters are all set for you
- Trades begin copying automatically once the connection is confirmed
If activating multiple risk profiles, repeat the process for each profile through your dashboard. Each risk profile requires its own dedicated MT4 account.

How long does activation take?
Once you’ve submitted your account details in the BTC Breakout dashboard, the system connects your account automatically. Connection typically completes within minutes. You’ll see a live connection status indicator on your dashboard, green means connected and receiving trades.
What is the 45-day activation window?
After purchase, you have 45 days to activate each risk profile. This gives you time to set up broker accounts and complete verification without pressure.
How Connection Works
What happens when I submit my account details?
When you enter your MT4 credentials in the dashboard, the system handles the entire setup process automatically behind the scenes: it verifies your account connection, configures the correct copier settings for your chosen risk profile, ensures only BTCUSD is traded, and enables trade copying. You do not need to configure any settings yourself.
What if I want to use multiple risk profiles?
If you’re activating multiple risk profiles, you’ll need to submit account details separately for each one through your dashboard. Each risk profile requires its own dedicated MT4 account.
Why do I need to use my master/trading password?
The investor password (read-only) does not allow trade execution. You must use your master/trading password to enable the software to open and close trades on your behalf.
Does the software automatically set all risk parameters?
Yes. The system automatically configures all copier settings, risk type, multiplier, lot sizing, symbol filtering and stop loss parameters. You do not need to configure any technical settings yourself. Lot sizes are calculated automatically based on your current balance.
Can I manually trade on the connected account?
No. Manual trading is not permitted on accounts connected to BTC Breakout. Mixing manual trades with the software interferes with the risk model and can cause overlapping positions, ultimately leading to potential total loss of funds.
